Just finished the book tour for Art In America--did readings/signings in NYC, Boston, Denver, LA & SF. Met some terrific people and as always was well taken care of by my media guides. Kate couldn't come as she was opening in Uncle Vanya at the Bard SummerScape Festival.
We had a great time up there at Bard--a beautiful campus with meadows, forests, wildlife and the Frank Gehry designed Performing Arts Center which is a jewel on the campus.
We loved the area too--Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Tivoli, etc. and found a spectacular restaurant in Rhinebeck--Gigi's.
We are back but only briefly as about to go visit our granddaughter, Ava, who is now 1 year old and a side trip to Sonoma as well.
After that we go to Toronto as I am doing a job for Nokia up there.
Doing 3 events in Rhode Island in mid-August and we will manage some beach time as well.
Then we head to Denver the end of August as Kate is doing one of the leads in NOISES OFF at the Denver Center Theatre.
